The Indianapolis Gridiron dinner returned to Indianapolis this year after being gone for nearly a decade. In the spirit of bringing old traditions alive, the 2012 Gridiron Dinner was back on the calendar and sponsored by the Indiana Fiscal Policy Institute. Previously sponsored by the Indiana Press Club, the Gridiron was a "laugh fest and the social highlight of many sessions. The best lines were repeated for days and hallways reverberated with laughter at the recollection of the powerful being verbally skewered in good-natured fun, in the spirit of bi-partisanship," according to some Gridiron History.
We were very fortunate to be able to host such a historical event here at the Indiana Roof Ballroom, downtown Indianapolis' premier event and party venue.
